There's a major update for the free official Facebook app for the iPhone. But still no sign of a dedicated iPad app.
The iPhone update now lets you tag friends and places in posts and it's now easier to share web links.
Also tweaked are privacy settings so you can duplicated options you've chosen on your Facebook webpage.
But still no sign of an iPad-dedicated Facebook app, although this is expected to be launched soon.
