iPhone 4S Siri Voice Control Fails In UK

The new Siri voice-recognition built into the iPhone 4S is certainly a huge step forward. But why, of why, does Apple release features that don't work properly outside the US.

You can be in Cupertino and ask Siri for a nearby restaurant, but not in Clapham. Localised location services in Siri only work in....yup...the United States.

Let's hope Apple gets an update out quickly so people in the rest of the world (and it's a pretty big place) can use Siri to its full potential.
