Apple admits MORE Battery Problems After OS Update Fix

Apple has admitted there are still some battery-life problems despite this week's operating system update to iOS5.0.1.

The update was released after widespread complaints that iOS5 caused device batteries to drain faster. Some users said they were only getting 14-hours with light-moderate use.

Even after the update to 5.0.1, there are still complaints - mainly from iPhone 4S owners.

Now, Apple has issued a statement to AllThingsD:
"The recent iOS software update addressed many of the battery issues that some customers experienced on their iOS 5 devices. We continue to investigate a few remaining issues."
