How To Enable Keyboard Auto-Correct Bar in iOS5

A hidden feature of iOS5 is an auto-correct select bar in the keyboard. It works in much the same way as similar features in Android and Windows Phone. The keyboard bar gives you suggestions for the word it thinks you're typing and you can tap the word you want.

Apple hasn't activated it in iOS5, but you can and you don't have to jailbreak. You just have to download a use a programme called iBackupbot, which lets you edit iOS backups.

Here's how to do it:
1. Backup your iPhone by syncing with iTunes
2. Download iBackupBot which is a tool that allows you to view, export and even edit iTunes backup files directly on computer.
3. Once downloaded, navigate to the most recent iTunes backup.
4. Go to Library/Preferences/com.apple.keyboard.plist and open the file.
5. Add in the following code:
KeyboardAutocorrectionListsYES
6. Save the file and restore the iTunes backup by using iBackupBot.
