At long last, Apple TV is to get streaming facilities in the UK.
An update is being rolled out in the UK, Canada and Australia which allows owners to stream TV shows straight from their Apple TV box. Previously, shows had to be downloaded to PCs and beamed from there to TV sets.
The streaming system has been live in the US since August.
The update comes as rumour persist that Apple is planning to market TV sets with Apple TV built in.
