Update: It now seems the release of iTunes match in the UK and other countries outside the US was a mistake. Apple is now offering subscription refunds to anyone who did manage to sign up. The option to join has now disappeared from iTunes. Heyho.
Earlier today, we reported that Apple has started to roll out iTunes Match in the UK...but it seems it's not quite as simple as that.
The sign-up to the Match £21.99 annual subscription is there in some users iTunes account details, but not for others. And, for many, if you do sign up you just get error messages.
Either it's err not working properly, or someone at Apple has jumped the gun and flicked an on switch too early.
So...basically, we don't know what's happening. But it isn't working properly.
