Apple has fixed a bug causing corrupt update downloads from the App Store. It caused updated apps to crash.
Apple says the problem only lasted one day this week, but some developers are saying the glitch was there longer.
While app developers were submitted updated apps with no problems, they had a bug by the time users updated their apps.
It did not affect fresh downloads of apps and the remedy if you have a crashing app that you've updated recently is to delete it and redownload from the App Store.
