A judge in London has ruled that Samsung did not copy the iPad with its Galaxy tablets. Judge Colin Birss decided one of the major differences is the Galaxy is not "as cool" as the iPad.
He ruled that consumers aren't likely to get them mixed up and threw out Apple's claim of copyright infringement.
The Galaxy tablets “do not have the same understated and extreme simplicity which is possessed by the Apple design,” Birss said. “They are not as cool.”(Source: Bloomberg)
