OK...the next wave of Windows Phone devices are just around the corner, but this is a bit of a bargain.
The UK retail chain Phones4u is selling the Nokia Lumia 800 for £143.96 on pay-as-you-go. You'll have to add the ridiculously statutory £10 initial top-up, but all Phones4u devices are SIM-unlocked.
So for £153.96 you get an unbranded, unlocked Lumia 800 - or even cheaper if you do it on a PAYG upgrade. The device was selling for £400 just a couple of months ago. Here's the Phones4U website link. And you can get it in black, blue or white.
It's all because the next wave of Windows Phone smartphones will be released early in November running the new Windows Phone 8 operating system.
But Microsoft has promised to update current handsets to WP7.8, which will include many of the features of WP8, including customisable Start Screen.
The Lumia 800 is a well-designed phone that runs WP without a stutter. And at this price, it will sell out soon.
Update: UK network Tesco Mobile is also discounting SIM-free models of the Nokia Lumia 800 at £159, but they're hard to come by with what appears to be constantly fluctuating stock levels.
