HTC hasn't got many. So when one is updated, it's a time for celebration.
While Nokia is releasing an ever-increasing portfolio of exclusive Windows Phone 8 apps - the excellent Nokia Drive to name but one - HTC only has half a dozen and, to be honest, none is worth writing home about.
Probably the best is called simply HTC and it's basically a newsreader to gather weather, stock and news feeds.
The good thing about the WP8 app was a lockscreen function, which would put current weather and a weather-related photo on the, err, lockscreen.
Except, when you selected it, it usually failed to show up.
It's now been updated...and, as far as we can see, it now works.
