We've praised an app called BBC Podcast Lounge in the past. Well, it's now dropped the BBC tag...so it's Podcast Lounge...and it's released an update with added features.
The major change is the ability for the app to automatically download the latest podcasts in your favourites list. This can be done over WiFi and when your phone is charging, even when it's asleep.
As for the no-more BBC tag...well, it seems the Corporation has been in touch with the developers. But don't forget, this is the Corporation that refuses to develop any apps - be it podcast or even iPlayer - for Windows Phone. So what does it expect.
Podcast Lounge developers say there will be further enhancements in the future, including a growing library of podcasts...not just BBC shows.
The app costs £1.49, with a trial, in the Windows Phone Store.
