UK Bus Checker app comes to Windows Phone 8

One of the best-selling UK live bus times app on Android and iPhone has now landed on Windows Phone.

UK Bus Checker is only for WP8 devices, and we've no news that a WP7 version is being planned.

The UK version, which includes London, is £2.49 and the London-only version is £1.99. Both have a free trial.

We've been trying the UK version and found it very slick. The route maps are especially useful.

What we really need from bus apps like this is a route-planning function - like in London tube apps - which tell you what bus to get on....where to change...to what other bus...and so on.
