O2 confirms Nokia Lumia 720 in April

O2 has become the first UK mobile operator to confirm it will be selling the Nokia Lumia 720 mid-range WP8 smartphone unveiled last month at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

It will be stocking the black version of the phone as well as having an exclusive on the red version.

There's no pricing yet, but it's expected to sell for around £300 on pre-pay or free on a £20-a-month contract.

The 720 has appeared as "coming soon" on the O2 website with a release date of April.
