Two new features in the Amber/GDR2 software update for Lumia WP8 phones are Glance and double-tap to wake up.
But both these were hidden away in sub-sections of the main Settings list.
Not any more.
Nokia has released an update for Lumia Extras+Info settings app that puts Glance and Touch in the main Settings list.
Of course, you'll need the Amber update as well.
Glance gives you a peek at the time if you wave your hand over a sleeping Lumia and Double-Tap wakes the phone up with a....err...double tap.
If you don't see the new settings when you've updated, open Extras+Info and close it again. That should trigger the new additions.
