The Skype (owned by Microsoft) app for WP8 (owned by Microsoft) has been updated at last to include video messaging and bring it in line with the Skype apps on iOS and Android.
Quite why it took Microsoft this long still isn't known but at least WP8 users are now getting the same features as other smartphone platforms.
