A forum member over at Windows Phone Central has been causing something of a stir when he posted photos of Nokia's upcoming Bittersweet Shimmer update which is bundled with Microsoft's next GDR3 update for Windows Phone 8.
The new features include SMS, email and missed-call notifications on Glance screen, driving mode, screen rotation lock, ability to close apps in multi-tasking screen, restore over WiFi after reset and (not shown in this video but widely reported) custom wounds for email, SMS and missed call (yayyyy).
Forum member ys2k says he bought a Lumia 920 on Craigslist and it was loaded with a developer version of the new updated software.
He's now posted a video:
The updates aren't expected to be released until November at the earliest and we're wondering how long it will take Microsoft and Nokia to get this developer phone back and out of public sight.
