Windows Phone 8.1 Notification Centre revealed

It seems this is the long-awaited Windows Phone Notification Centre...a pull-down that also includes quick settings like switching WiFi and Bluetooth on and off.

The images have been published by the website Winphollowers and have been all-but confirmed by Windows Phone Central.

They appear to come from a confidential internal Microsoft document and show a Notification Centre/Action Centre that's pulled down from the top of the screen.

One pull-down reveals four quick settings, which are configurable...another swipe down reveals the full notification list including calls, messages and email as well as notification from installed apps like Facebook and Twitter.

The Centre will be included with the Windows Phone 8.1 update expected to be announced at the Microsoft Build conference in San Francisco on April 2. It's thought a developer preview will be released soon afterwards for download by registered developers who've opted in, as with the developer release of WP Update 3.

The full public release of 8.1 will probably debut on new devices before being released as a general public update.
