The Times has updated its rip-off iPad app on iTunes.
Apparently, it fixes "problems that have been reported by users".
That'll be me then. All those crashes, freezings and disappearing downloaded editions.
Actually, well done on a fast update...but I bet the way-over-the-top subscription price of £9.99 a month hasn't changed. And that's for a cut-down version of the paper...no Saturday suppliments...and absolutely no Sunday Times at all.
This app could be sooooo good. But it just leaves you feeling fleeced!
Update: Tried the update now and must admit, it works very well. Love the way the front page Times logo minimises when you flick the page over and they've got rid of that puzzling pause after flicks. Still far too expensive though.....

I’m Graham Drew and I work for News International. I’ve just been reading your blog post about The Times iPad app which is very interesting.
We certainly acknowledge that we didn't get everything right for launch, but we're working ‘round the clock to continue to improve it. All feedback is useful so keep it coming!
Regarding The Sunday Times will be a separate Sunday Times app launched soon but the price and launch date are yet to be announced.
