Lost track of the number of lawsuits brought against Apple! Well add another one.Someone in California has started legal action for compensation alleging that the iPad heats up too quickly and goes into emergency mode.
The lawsuit alleges that in direct sunlight, the iPad turns off "sometimes after just a few minutes".
Apple has made no secret of the fact that all its mobile devices have built in heat sensors that shut the device down and display a warning sign until the unit has cooled down.
In fact, it has a support document on its website explaining why.
