Apple has started to give away free cases to iPhone 4 owners...and it's all done with an app.It comes a week after Steve Jobs acknowledged the phone's deathgrip problem and announced that all owners would be given a free case.
Here's how you do it: go to the iTunes App Store on your iPhone 4 and search for "iPhone 4 Case Program" or use the link below. You'll then be able to download an app to order your case.
The app will check your phone's IMEI and serial numbers to make sure you're eligible.
There are several cases on offer. You can get an Apple Bumper - but only in black.
Apple has already started refunding people who bought iPhone 4 cases on line. And word has it...ssshh..that if you were refunded you can still order a new free one with the app. At the moment, anyway!
