The Apple Sore on-line seems to be preparing for the big iPhone 4 case give-away. Free iPhone 4 cases for all was the Apple tactic to get customers back on side after mounting complaints about the deathgrip problem.
The status of Bumper cases on the website has now changed to Currently Unavailable. So it seems the store is readying itself to give them away. It's expected to start late this week.
Apple has admitted it won't have enough Bumpers to go round so it will also offer other cases as well.
You'll be able to order your free one on-line. If you've already bought a case, they're promising a method of getting your money back.
If, like me, you've bought two cases - you're buggered and stupid!
The free case offer runs until September 30. Why it stops then, we don't know. Could Apple bring out an iPhone 4 with a redesigned antenna to solve the problem?
