Second beta iOS4.1released but still no proximity sensor fix

Apple has released iPhone iOS4.1 beta 2 to developers.

But early reports say there is still no fix for the proximity sensor fault.

Apple boss Steve Jobs promised a solution for the problem in the next major software update.

Presumably there will be a couple more betas.
