Skype has released an update for its iPhone app to include multitasking with iOS4.The update to version 2.1 is live now on iTunes
It means you can leave Skype running in the background and receive calls/messages as they happen.
The app will work with iOS4 on an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 3GS.
Could this take over from costly network calling completely?
There's still no video calling built into Skype....yet. So FaceTime still rules the world of iPhone video-calls.
