Apple Regent Street Store In London Is Busiest In World

The Apple Store in Regent Street, London, is officially the company's busiest shop in the world.

That's according to Ron Johnson and he should know. He's Apple's Senior Vice President of Retail.

He says it's busier than the company's Fifth Avenue store in New York, which is open 24-hours a day.  The Regent Street shop was opened six years ago.

Mr Johnson says:"Regent Street taught me the most. It was a big bet to put in a big store like that, but it worked. Today, Regent Street is our highest traffic store in the world".

And here's a good Apple-ism: "Our retail workers are taught to look in the heart, not the pocket book of customers".

Earlier this month, Apple opened a new superstore in Covent Garden, London.
