OK, so we haven't had our iPad that long. This study could have caught owners in the first flush of love...and we all know what happens to that! But, here goes....
A survey just released shows the majority of iPad owners prefer to read newspapers and mags on their shiny new device. Thirty-one per cent in fact, with 26% using laptops or computers and 24% dragging themselves in the British summer rain to the newsagent to buy paper stuff (and yes I know you can get them delivered, but I wanted to mention the bloody awful summer we've been having).
iBooks are proving popular too...41% read on their iPad...36% on paper...and the remaining 7% use other devices, like Amazon's Kindle.
I said it's early in the iPad love affair. And the survey also shows that 62% use their devices at home and rarely take them out. Typical!
