Apple Gets Sexting Patent

We all know how prudish Apple is - especially boss Steve "there-will-never-be-porn-on-an-iPhone Jobs.

Some porn apps have slipped through the Apple App Store net, but have been removed pretty swiftly.

Well, it appears Apple now has it sights set on texting. 

It's been awarded a patent in the US for a method  of filtering text-based messages that contain "objectionable content".

It's all aimed at giving parents more control over youngsters' phones.  Bet it won't stop youngsters simply using other non-filtered words.
