It's Official: Apple Is Raking In Money

Apple has announced it made a profit of $4.31-billion in the three months up to the end of September. That a 70% increase in profits on a total revenue of $20.34-billion.

Ready for more figures?  During those three months, the company sold 14.1-million iPhones, that's up a gigantic 91% on the same quarter a year go and dispels fears that Antennagate would dent sales.  Add to that more than four-million iPads sold...and increasing numbers of Mac computers - up 27%.

These figures are better than even the most optimistic speculators were forecasting. And they prove that the crest of the wave for Apple dominance in tech manufacturing has still to be reached.

The company says it could have sold even more iPhones if it could have made them fast enough to keep up with demand.

The only blot on the figures for Apple are iPad sales.  It had hoped to sell more.
