"Official" Greenpois0n Jailbreak for iOS4.1 Is Released

The Chronic Dev Team has released its Greenpois0n jailbreak.

It will only jailbreak iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches running the latest Apple iOS4.1 software.  It will not jailbreak older operating systems and at the moment it's Windows and Linux-only.

The release was delayed after Geohot jumped the gun launched his Limera1n jailbreak, which works on all iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches.

The Dev Team decided to rewrite their jailbreak to use the same security hole that allows Limera1n to work. They'll now keep their original exploit for future use.

So now you have a choice:

Greenpois0n or Limera1n.

I've used Limera1n and it works great.
