Skyfire Flash-Friendly iPhone Browser Now Released in UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand

The Skyfire web browser iPhone app had to be pulled from the Apple App Store within hours of being launched a few weeks ago.

It was pulled by its developers because it was too popular. Their servers couldn't cope with the demand. Why? Because Skyfire lets you watch Flash video on websites, a format not supported by Apple.

What happens is Skyfire converts Flash video into a compatible format for the iPhone.

The developers have been slowly re-releasing the app...first in the US app store. And they're gradually rolling it out to other areas.

It's now live for download in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. And it's been updated to version 2.1.

You can get Skyfire for £1.79 from the Apple App Store.
