Woz Watches As Apple Computer Goes For £110,000

An Apple computer - made in 1976 - has been sold at an auction in London for £110,000/$174,000.

The Apple 1 machine was handmade by Steve Jobs and his then business partner, Steve Wozniak, in the garage of Jobs' parents' home.

Its case is made of wood and it has no monitor. It was one of 200 similar models the pair made.

Woz was at the auction at Christie's and he described the machine as "an important development" in the history of Apple.
