If You're Looking For A Good iPhone Camera App...Try Camera+

Update: Camera+ sold nearly 79,000 downloads on iTunes on Christmas Day alone.

It was a sad day four months ago when Camera+, a superb photo-taking app for iPhones, was booted out of the App Store.

Apple decided it had broken store rules when it introduced a feature letting you snap a photo by pressing your phone volume button. I thought it was a great feature, but apparently Apple doesn't let apps change the way the iPhone hardware functions. Bah!

Anyway, Camera+ is now back in the App Store - without the volume-button feature - but with loads of improvements. (Don't confuse it with an app called Camera Plus)
More After The Jump...

The design is simpler and it does much more. When you're taking a photo you can automatically set exposure as well as focus by tapping the screen....it's got anti-shake and smooth zoom...and after your pic is taken, you can do simple editing and touching up.

So, if you're looking for a good replacement camera app for the built in one on your iPhone, I would strongly suggest Camera+

And the developers - tap tap tap - have cut the price to 59p/99c for a limited time for the relaunch. Get it from the App Store here.
