It seems that Skype has finally decided to get into video-calling.
Engadget is reporting that an announcement will be made at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in early January.
A Skype system would go in opposition to Apple's built-in FaceTime video-calling on the iPhone 4. And it would be just in time for the new iPad, which is certain to have a camera.
It's known that Skype reps will be taking part in a panel discussion at CES called "Video-Calling Gets Ready For Primetime".
