It was exactly a year ago that Steve Jobs went on stage in San Francisco and gave the public its first glimpse of the iPad. It then went on sale in the US in April last year, followed by a worldwide roll-out.
Steve Jobs later admitted that Apple had been working on the iPad for longer than the already-released iPhone.
