It's confirmed. News Corp boss Rupert Murdoch is to formally launch the much-anticipated iPad-only newspaper, The Daily, on February 2.
As the Press invitation shows, he'll be joined by Apple's vice president of Internet Services, Eddy Cue.
It'll be interesting to see if Apple also announces its planned new newspaper and magazine subscription service, which it's thought would mean subscribing with your iTunes account.
The Daily already has more than 100 journalists producing dummies at News Corp's HQ in New York. It's thought it will initially be available in the US before being rolled out in other countries.
Roop's son, James Murdoch, who heads up the empire in Europe and Asia, confirmed a couple of days ago that The Daily will be priced at 99c/59p a week.
