Apple Store Pulls Verizon iPhone Order Pages

Strange goings on at the Apple Store website. Earlier today order pages appeared for the Verizon iPhone 4, but they were quickly pulled.

It seems someone jumped the gun. The phone is due to be released on February 10. But the pages were up long enough to get a look at the price plans on offer.
They start at $199.99 up-front for the iPhone 4 and $39.99 a month for 450 included minutes. The most expensive is $69.99 a month for Talk Unlimited. All plans are two-year contracts.

Then you must add on a data plan at $29.99 a month unlimited (Verizon have said this is a special offer and they will introduce a cap on data usage at some time).

And if you want to use the phone's Personal Hotspot tethering capability, it'll cost you another wacking $20 for 2GB per month. If you bust that, it's $20 per GB over the limit.
