It's confirmed. And here's the invitation to prove it. Apple is holding a media event in San Francisco on Wednesday, March 2.
And what will be announced? Well, the corner picture of an iPad is a bit of a give-away. Yup, the iPad 2.
It would seem to firmly stamp on reports of production delays and means the iPad 2 could be in shops in April or possibly late March, although perhaps only in the US initially.
It's widely predicted the device will be the same screen size, but with a better HD resolution, slightly smaller overall size and thinner. There could also be a better processor and graphics chip.
There are lots of unknowns still, like price and who will make the announcement. Will it be Steve Jobs currently on sick leave?
