Apple is hosting "an invitation-only event" at BBC Television Centre in London on Wednesday March 2 at 6pm.
It's not saying what the event is for, but that's exactly the same time as its launch event in San Francisco to unveil the new iPad 2.
And rumour has it Apple fan Stephen Fry will be hosting the London event.
OK. It doesn't take much to put two and two together. But exactly what is unknown. High Definition video calling between London and San Francisco? It would be a good way to show off the new device's FaceTime abilities with its built-in cameras.
It could even mean the international launch of the BBC's iPlayer TV and radio replay app on subscription.
