Apple Chief Operating Officer, Tim Cook, says Apple is "for everyone" and not "just for the rich".
It may not feel like it after you've shelled out £2,000 for a laptop or £1,700 for a desktop or £600 for a phone. But it appears Apple wants a bigger foothold in the lower end of the markets.
According to Business Insider, Cook has hinted strongly that there will soon be a cheaper iPhone which will attack the prepay market.
In an interview with a market analyst, Cook conceded that "price is a big factor in the prepay market".
