iPhone 5 "Not Until Autumn Or Even Next Year"

It's looking increasingly likely that Apple is going to break away from its traditional iPhone release schedule.

In past years, we've seen a new iPhone on sale each Summer with an announcement at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in June.  But the press release heralding this year's WWDC is software focused and no mention of an iPhone.

There's increasing speculation from people who should know that Apple will spend a few months concentrating on the new iPad 2, which went on sale in 25 countries last week.

Some say it could be an Autumn release for the iPhone 5, but others are saying it might not be until next Spring.  Reports from Asia say Apple hasn't even begin ordering components for a new device.
