It's reported the world's fourth biggest LCD screen manufacturer has won a big order from Apple to provide iPad 2 screens.
The Taiwan-based Economic Daily News says AU Optronics Corp could end up supplying as many as 30-million screens a year, which would take up more than half the capacity of its plant at Taichung in central Taiwan.
Some analysts say Apple may have shifted as many as one-million units just during the iPad 2 launch weekend in the United States. Since then, it's gone on sale in 25 other countries, including the UK, where it's still in short supply.
