One of the major features pushed by Apple on the iPhone 4 and iPad 2 is FaceTime video-calling. Quite how much it's used I don't know. I've used it once.
Well, Google is catching up. It's announced the rollout of a Google Talk update for Android smartphones to feature video chat.
One major edge it will have over FaceTime is it will work on a 3G connection as well as WiFi.
The rollout will start with the Google-branded Nexus S smartphone and then to others with front-facing cameras.
Of course, you could just go for a third-party app that does the same, like Skype or Fring, which has just announced an update to include group video-calling.
