TomTom iPhone App Gets Updated With.... Homer Simpson

TomTom has released an update for its iPhone navigation app and top of the list of "improvements" is turn-by-turn instructions from Homer Simpson.

Twentieth Century Fox has allowed Dan Castellaneta's voice  to be used on the iPhone, no doubt in return for shedloads of money.

The app also now lets you update its database of fixed speed cameras.

But it all comes at a cost. You have to shell out £49.99 for the UK and Ireland TomTom version. Homer Simpson costs an extra £3.49 as an in-app purchase and the speed-cameras update is on subscription.
