Apple Retail Stores Unveil Underwhelming Makeover

If you go down to your local Apple Store today, you won't be in for that much of a surprise.

The chain has undergone what's been dubbed a makeover - called internally "Retail 2.0" - and it's fairly underwhelming.

The biggest change you'll see are iPads replacing paper tags next to products with pricing and specs.  You can also use the iPads to call  for an assistant.

And, err, well, that's about it. iPads as product labels for...iPads.
