A shy High School kid from Queens in New York was shaken when he felt the full wrath of Apple.
Philip Lam has started a business converting the black iPhone 4 into a white iPhone 4. Don't forget this was when the white version of the device was unavailable because of launch delays.
He offered his service on a website and was said to have made $100,000 very quickly.
Eventually, he got a cease and desist letter from Apple. Then, Apple slapped a lawsuit on the teenager and his parents accusing them of "infringing and diluting Apple's famous trademarks". But at the same time, Cupertino's lawyers applied to voluntarily withdraw the action.
