Cydia App Store Gets A Rival With The Return Of Installer

It looks like the Cydia app store on jailbroken iOS devices is getting a rival with the return of the Installer store.

Installer was the very first alternative app store when iPhone jailbreaking began. But gradually it got outdone by Cydia.  There were also a couple of other stores that launched but all disappeared, the last being Rock Your Phone, which was swallowed up by Cydia.

The return of installer project is in early stages. Your can download the Installer app from, err, the Cydia app store.  But you'll first have to add this repo to Cydia: http://fr0stdev.co.cc/repo (note the 0 in fr0stdev is a zero).

Installer works in a different way to Cydia, so current Cydia repos won't work in Installer. The developers say theyore working on getting it sorted out.
