The Success Of Amazon: 900 New Jobs For Scotland



Online retailer Amazon has announced its second major expansion in Scotland this year.

The company is to set up a customer services centre in Edinburgh, creating 500 permanent and 400 temporary jobs.

The new centre will handle customer queries for the group and technical support for its e-book reader, Kindle and its MP3 services.

In January, Amazon announced 950 more full-time jobs in Dunfermline and Gourock.
