Apple Likely To Fail In Legal Action Against Amazon Over Appstore

It looks like Apple will lose its legal fight to stop Amazon using the name Appstore. And that's according to the judge hearing the case.

Apple claims Amazon's Android Appstore name will "irreparably harm" the value of its own App Store. But Bloomberg reports:
U.S. District Judge Phyllis Hamilton said today after a hearing in Oakland, California, that she is “probably” going to deny the motion because Apple hasn’t demonstrated confusion among consumers. Hamilton said she will review court filings before issuing a final decision.
Ah well, there are plenty of other Apple-related legal actions to keep us going...and what's the betting Apple will appeal anyway.

Why didn't I become a lawyer?!
