Facebook is at long last going to release an app for the iPad.
The New York Times reports that people in the know say it will be in the Apple App Store "in the coming weeks".
There's been an iPhone app since the App Store opened but no iPad app. Facebook boss Mark Zukerberg famously said he didn't consider the iPad to be a mobile device and therefore not deserving of an app of its own.
How wrong he was.
