Update: Facebook has confirmed that Geohot is on the payroll. It's not saying any more apart from confirming that the news is correct.
It seems jailbreaker extraordinaire George Hotz - Geohot - is now working at Facebook.
This could be his Facebook homepage and fellow hacker Joshua Hill seems to confirm his friend's new job in a web interview :
Geohot first hit the headlines when he unlocked the first iPhone. Since then, he's been instrumental in several successful jailbreaks for Apple products. The giant Sony Corporation took legal action against him after he jailbroke their PlayStation 3 games console, but later dropped the case.
Facebook has said it's now working on a dedicated iPad app. Perhaps that's what Geohot his working on.
