If you're after a bargain in the Apple App Store, you should try Store News.
It's a free app that scours the store for the latest price reductions or apps-gone-free and lists them for you.
The developers say it scans the store every 15 minutes. It categorises apps - so you can just search for what interests you - and tells you how much they've been discounted. It then links you straight to the app in the store.
There's also a Store News version for Mac that tells you discounts in the Mac App Store. It's free too.
